TENNESSEE ACADEMY OF SCIENCE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING 20 April 2007 President George Webb called the meeting of the Tennessee Academy of Science (TAS) Executive Committee to order at 6:33 PM CDT in the Massey Boardroom of the Massey Business Center on the campus of Belmont University, Nashville, Tennessee, Attendees were President-elect Cindi Smith-Walters. Past President John Harris, Treasurer Steven Murphree, Secretary Teresa Fulcher, Managing Editor Gore Ervin, Junior Academy of Science Director Jack Rhoton, Collegiate Division Director Fred Matthews, Meeting Coordinator Michael Redding, Education Committee Chariperson Kim Sadler, Publicity and Research Committee Chairperson Mandy Carter-Lowe, Members-at-large Andy Andrews and Jeff Boles, Local Arrangements Committee Chairperson Nancy G. Moorris, and Department of Education Liaison Linda Jordan. Prior to the meeting, the Executive Committee enjoyed dinner in the Massey Boardroo,. On behalf of the Executive Committee, President Webb expressed appreciation to Dr. Steven Murphree for organizing the meeting. President Webb introduced Dr. Kim Sadler as the new Chair of the Education Committee and Andy Andrews as the new Member-at-large, anticipating significant contributions from both.
